Assemblyman Marc Steinorth Officially Wins Re-Election Bid

Assemblyman “Excited to Get Back to Work” for the Inland Empire

Rancho Cucamonga, CA — This morning, after more than two weeks of ballot counting Assemblyman Marc Steinorth has declared victory in the race represent the 40th Assembly District in the California Legislature.

With 100% of the precincts reporting and most of the provisional ballots accounted for, Steinorth has a lead of more than 2,500 votes.

First elected in 2014, Assemblyman Marc Steinorth faced one of the toughest re-election challenges among state legislators this year.

“This was a long and hard-fought election. However, I’m proud of the campaign we ran, a campaign that focused on the issues that matter most to Inland Empire families—growing our economy, reducing crime, and improving our state’s education system,” stated Assemblyman Marc Steinorth.

Over the course of the campaign, Marc earned the unanimous endorsement from every single Mayor and Council Member in the entire 40th Assembly District—regardless of party affiliation.

“I’m extremely humbled by the outpouring of support our team has received over the past year and deeply honored by the trust voters have placed in me to represent them,” stated Steinorth. “I am excited to get back to work advocating for the Inland Empire in Sacramento.”

Since being elected to the Assembly, Steinorth has made good on his pledge to work toward a safer and more prosperous Inland Empire. He has worked with both Democrats and Republicans to author numerous bills that have toughened laws on sexual predators and provided assistance to victims. In addition to his commitment to public safety, Steinorth has worked to shape policies that protect small businesses from frivolous lawsuits, create more job opportunities for local residents, and increase government accountability.

Steinorth is the owner and founder of the Atlas Buying Group, Inc., which helps small businesses throughout the country start, run and expand. Marc’s company has helped to create thousands of jobs throughout the country in its nearly twenty years of operation.

Marc Steinorth represents California’s 40th Assembly District, which includes the communities of Highland, Loma Linda, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, San Bernardino and the unincorporated areas of Mentone, Devore, Lytle Creek and portions of Phelan. Marc and his wife, Maria and their two children live in Rancho Cucamonga.
