RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA — Longtime small business owner and State Assemblyman, Marc Steinorth has received the endorsement of San Bernardino County Sheriff, John McMahon, in his campaign for re-election.

Sheriff John McMahon began his career with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department as a patrol deputy at the Needles Police/Sheriff’s Station. After rising through the ranks, McMahon was appointed to Sheriff by the Board of Supervisors and was subsequently elected Sheriff in 2014.

“Marc Steinorth is a tremendous advocate for law enforcement and cares deeply about the safety and wellbeing of our communities and our officers,” stated Sheriff McMahon. “We need more leaders like Marc who understand the importance of providing the necessary resources for law enforcement to carry out their duties. Marc works day in and day out to provide a voice for his constituents, and I enthusiastically support his campaign for re-election.”

Prior to being elected to the California State Assembly, Marc Steinorth served as a member of the Rancho Cucamonga City Council. There, Steinorth worked with local leaders to maintain a balanced city budget so that residents could continue to receive critical city services like law enforcement. As an Assemblyman, Steinorth has focused his efforts on public safety, education reform, creating a more business-friendly California, and improving housing affordability throughout the state.

In 1998, Marc founded Atlas Buying Group, Inc., which provides professional services for both local and national small businesses, helping them expand and create jobs. As a successful small businessman and former Rancho Cucamonga Council Member, Marc has experience with both balancing a budget and running organizations in a fiscally responsible manner.

Marc and his wife, Maria and their two children live in Rancho Cucamonga. He represents the communities of Redlands, Highland, Rancho Cucamonga, Loma Linda and San Bernardino including unincorporated areas of Mentone, Lytle Creek, Devore and portions of Phelan.
