  1. Assemblyman Marc Steinorth Endorsed by California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA — Longtime small business owner and Assemblyman Marc Steinorth has been endorsed by the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce PAC in his campaign for re-election.

The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC) consists of a network of over 42 Hispanic chambers and business associations throughout the state. CHCC represents over 800,000 businesses and exists to promote the economic growth and development of Hispanic entrepreneurs while continuing to advocate for legislation and public policy that empowers California’s small businesses.

“The impacts facing small businesses within the Hispanic community are a serious threat to existing and future entrepreneurs,” stated PAC Chairman Frank Montes. “This endorsement is a signal to California voters that Assemblyman Marc Steinorth has worked to find the best solutions to meet these challenges and create a better environment for all California businesses. We are confident that he will continue this and therefore are proud to support his ongoing efforts.”

Nearly 20 years ago, Marc Steinorth founded Atlas Buying Group, Inc., which provides services to small businesses throughout the nation—helping them to expand and create jobs. Before he was elected to the State Assembly, Marc served as a Council Member for the City of Rancho Cucamonga, where he earned a reputation as an out-of-the-box thinker and a watchdog of taxpayer money. Since taking office in 2014, Steinorth has fought for government transparency and policies which help small businesses thrive and create job opportunities.

“Small businesses employ over half of our nation’s working population. The only way to get our state’s economy back on track is to fight for common-sense policies which allow job creators and entrepreneurs to succeed,” Steinorth responded. “I am honored to have the support of the Hispanic Chambers of Commerce PAC, and look forward to working with them to make California a more friendly place to do business.”

Assemblyman Steinorth currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Committee on Housing and Community Development. In his first term, Steinorth authored a bill that would make homeownership more achievable for first-time buyers. He has also focused his efforts on creating a more business-friendly California, reforming our public school system, and protecting taxpayers across the state.

Marc Steinorth is seeking reelection to the 40th Assembly District, which includes the communities of Highland, Loma Linda, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, and much of San Bernardino. He lives in Rancho Cucamonga with his wife, Maria, and their two children.
