Assemblyman Marc Steinorth Unanimously Endorsed by Rancho Cucamonga City Council

Press Release

RANCHO CUCAMONGA – Longtime small business owner and Assemblyman, Marc Steinorth has received the endorsement of every member of the Rancho Cucamonga City Council in his re-election campaign. The supporters include: Mayor L. Dennis Michael, Mayor Pro Tem Sam Spagnolo, and Councilmembers William J. Alexander, Lynne Kennedy and Diane Williams.

“Marc’s private sector and local government experience, coupled with his belief that most decisions should be made at the local level makes him the perfect representative of our community,” said Mayor Michael. “For far too long, Sacramento has taken away power from the locals to make decisions for our community. Marc is on our side and is fighting for us.”

Prior to being elected in the Assembly, Steinorth served as a Rancho Cucamonga Councilman. While working with his colleagues, he helped to ensure the city maintained a balanced budget and built prudent financial reserves—experience he has brought to the legislature. He also created a tool to bring businesses to Rancho Cucamonga, a model he believes will work for the entire state.

“Marc is a well-rounded leader focused on providing a voice for each and every resident in the Inland Empire,” said Councilman Alexander. “Marc is a friend to our middle class families, our seniors and even our animals. I whole heartedly support him in his re-election.”

Marc, his wife Maria and their two children live in Rancho Cucamonga. He represents the communities of Redlands, Highland, Rancho Cucamonga, Loma Linda and San Bernardino including the unincorporated areas of Mentone, Lytle Creek, Devore and portions of Phelan.
