Rancho Cucamonga, CA — Small business owner and Assemblyman, Marc Steinorth has received endorsements from a majority of the members on the Chaffey Joint Union School District Board. The board members supporting his campaign for reelection include: President Arthur Bustamonte, Vice President Shari Megaw, Board Member Charles Uhalley and Board Clerk Sue Ovitt.

“California’s education system needs leaders who are committed to working with local educators and ensuring local control,” said Board President Arthur Bustamonte. “This is exactly what Marc has done as our Assemblyman, and it’s clear that he is committed to our students’ future, not political or partisan games.”

Marc’s commitment to providing local leaders with the resources they need and his unique understanding of local government, comes from his experience as a Rancho Cucamonga City Councilman and community volunteer. He knows that the residents working with the area’s students on a daily basis are the best people to enact real, positive change.

“Marc knows that common-sense reform is the only way to return the promise of our state’s education system,” stated Board Member Sue Ovitt. “He is a passionate person who has demonstrated a willingness to address the real issues for the benefit of our students.”

In addition to his commitment to education reform, Assemblyman Steinorth has used his experience to restore opportunities for the Inland Empire’s middle class – focusing on the availability of affordable housing, needed infrastructure improvements, public safety, and job creation.

“I’m humbled by the support of the Chaffey Joint Union School District Board,” said Steinorth. “We’ve worked extremely hard to reestablish the lines of communication between state and local leaders over the last two years, and it’s this teamwork that will provide a stronger future for our students as well as our families.”

Marc Steinorth is seeking reelection to the 40th Assembly district, which includes the communities of Highland, Loma Linda, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, San Bernardino and the unincorporated areas of Mentone, Devore, Lytle Creek and portions of Phelan. Marc and his wife, Maria and their two children live in Rancho Cucamonga.
