Small business owner and Assemblyman Marc Steinorth received the endorsement of CAL FIRE Local 2881, an organization representing over 6,800 men and women engaged in firefighting and protection of our structures and forests.

“Marc Steinorth’s proven career track record of supporting public safety, even when it wasn’t popular to do so, has made him a champion of firefighters who need resources and equipment to effectively serve the citizens of California,” said Chapter Director Liz Brown. “Marc’s leadership and dedication to finding real solutions to today’s problems will be an asset to this county. We look forward to working with Marc in the years to come.”

During his tenure in the State Assembly, Steinorth supported public safety and all first responders through his legislation to place trauma kits in all public buildings. He also supported increased investment in training and fire prevention.

“I’m honored to have the endorsement of our CAL FIRE firefighters,” said Steinorth. “I look forward to working with them to support all they do to keep our communities safe and our homes protected.”

San Bernardino County’s 2nd District includes the cities of Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Upland, and the unincorporated communities of Devore, Lytle Creek, San Antonio Heights, Mt. Baldy and the Rim of the World mountain communities. Steinorth is a small business owner and father of two children, Madison and Mason.
