Rancho Cucamonga, CA — Small business owner and Assemblyman, Marc Steinorth has received the endorsement of the Redlands Police Officers Association (RPOA).

In addition to representing the interests of the police officers, corporals, and detectives of the Redlands Police Department, RPOA has made a concerted effort to include city leaders, business owners and other community organizations in their mission of making Redlands a safer place to live, work and raise a family.

“Marc has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to law enforcement as well as the community of Redlands,” said Chief of Police Mark Garcia. “He has a bottom-up approach when it comes to leadership and it’s this dedication to providing local public safety leaders with a voice that has permitted our departments to address the issues that are unique to our region.”

Prior to his election to the Assembly in 2014, Steinorth served as a Councilmember for the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Although commonly recognized for his focus on job creation and fiscal responsibility during this time, as a member of the Consolidated Fire Agencies (ConFire) committee, it was clear that his passion for the safety of those in which he represented was equally as strong.

Steinorth’s commitment to reducing crime in the Inland Empire has carried over to his current role at the state level. In the Assembly, he has been recognized for his willingness to work across the aisle in order to co-author legislation that has toughened penalties on sexual predators and other violent offenders.

Marc Steinorth is seeking reelection to the 40th Assembly district, which includes the communities of Highland, Loma Linda, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, San Bernardino and the unincorporated areas of Mentone, Devore, Lytle Creek and portions of Phelan. Marc and his wife, Maria and their two children live in Rancho Cucamonga.
