Assemblyman Marc Steinorth’s Statement on 2016 State of the State Address

Press Release

Sacramento, CA – Today Assemblyman Marc Steinorth released the following statement in regard to Governor Jerry Brown’s 2016 State of the State address.

“The best thing we can do for middle class families is make the American dream of homeownership an achievable goal. I was disappointed the Governor did not address California’s housing crisis and its effect on our shrinking middle class.”

“Sacramento is failing our hard working middle class families. We must develop solutions to our state’s critical housing shortage, a problem that has led to a shrinking of the middle class and a rise in poverty rates.”

“The future of our state depends on lowering our state’s sky-high cost of living. I plan to do all I can as an advocate for middle class families to make the dream of home ownership a reality.”

Assemblyman Steinorth represents the 40th Assembly District which includes Rancho Cucamonga, San Bernardino, Highland, Loma Linda, and Redlands.
