RANCHO CUCAMONGA – Just days after announcing his campaign for San Bernardino County’s 2nd District, Assemblyman Marc Steinorth received the endorsement of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Employees’ Benefit Association.

“Marc is a proven leader for local law enforcement and has always made public safety a top priority,” said SEBA President Grant Ward. “Marc has been our ally fighting against disastrous policies coming out of Sacramento and now we’re looking forward to working with him to keep our County safe. I am confident Marc is the best choice to help us keep violent criminals out of our community and keep our hard-working deputies a priority.”

During his tenure in the State Assembly, Steinorth authored legislation to increase punishments for sex offenders, keep guns out of the hands of felons, and keep dangerous criminals behind bars.

“To have a thriving community we must have a safe community,” said Steinorth. “That’s why I’m so grateful to have the trust and support of our county law enforcement officers. Crime is increasing in our communities and there’s a shortage of officers on our streets to keep us safe. It’s unacceptable that our law enforcement hasn’t had the support they need and I look forward to working with them to tackle these issues.”

San Bernardino County’s 2nd District includes the cities of Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Upland, and the unincorporated communities of Devore, Lytle Creek, San Antonio Heights, Mt. Baldy and the Rim of the World mountain communities. Steinorth is a small business owner and father of two children, Madison and Mason.
