SACRAMENTO – Assemblyman Marc Steinorth (R-Rancho Cucamonga) responds to the release of Governor Brown’s 2018 budget proposal.

“Our budget is much more than numbers; it proves where our priorities lie in California. With the release of the Governor’s budget proposal today, we have an opportunity to invest in our future,” said Assemblyman Steinorth.

“The unexpected surplus of approximately $4.7 billion must be used to reduce our state’s debt and invest in our infrastructure to support our growing population, improve our schools, and keep our neighborhoods safe. I look forward to working on a budget this year that improves the lives of all Californians.”

Assemblyman Marc Steinorth (R-Rancho Cucamonga) represents the 40th Assembly District in the California Legislature, which includes the cities of Redlands, Highland, Loma Linda, and portions of San Bernardino and Rancho Cucamonga.
