RANCHO CUCAMONGA – Small business owner and State Assemblyman Marc Steinorth announced the endorsement of Fontana Councilman Jesse Armendarez in his campaign to represent San Bernardino County’s 2nd District.

“Marc’s work ethic and dedication to our community are the reasons I’m proud to give him my full support,” said Councilman Armendarez. “Marc doesn’t just talk, he takes action for us, and he does what it takes to achieve real results. Our community has been ignored for far too long and our residents deserve to have their voice heard at the county level. I’m confident that Marc will put our community first.”

Prior to his service in the State Assembly, Marc Steinorth served as a Rancho Cucamonga City Councilman where he created an innovative program to bring new businesses to the city, a program he plans to expand across the region. During his tenure in the State Assembly, Steinorth authored legislation to help repair our local roads without raising taxes and fought against tax increases including the gas tax increase that disproportionately hurts inland empire residents.

“I’m honored to have the support of Councilman Armendarez and I look forward to working with him and the entire Fontana City Council to solve issues like the crime increase in our neighborhoods and the deterioration of our roads,” said Steinorth.

San Bernardino County’s 2nd District includes the cities of Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Upland, and the unincorporated communities of Devore, Lytle Creek, San Antonio Heights, Mt. Baldy and the Rim of the World mountain communities. Steinorth is a small business owner and father of two children, Madison and Mason.
