RANCHO CUCAMONGA – Small business owner and State Assemblyman Marc Steinorth has received the endorsement of Rancho Cucamonga Mayor Dennis Michael in his campaign to represent San Bernardino County’s 2nd District.

“I had the pleasure of working with Marc on the Rancho Cucamonga City Council and I can say firsthand how hard he works,” said Mayor Michael. “Bottom line, Marc has been an effective advocate for our community in every way he can. When we need things done, we go to Marc. His small business background and local government experience make him the ideal candidate for the office of County Supervisor and I’m proud to give him my full support and endorsement.”

Prior to his service in the State Assembly, Marc Steinorth served as a Rancho Cucamonga City Councilman where he created an innovative program to bring new businesses to the city, a program he plans to replicate across the region. During his tenure in the State Assembly, Steinorth authored legislation to help repair our local roads without raising taxes and fought against the gas tax increase that disproportionately hurts Inland Empire residents.

“I’m honored to have the endorsement of Mayor Dennis Michael and I look forward to continuing to working with him on issues such as improving our local economy, combating crime and repairing our roads,” said Steinorth.

San Bernardino County’s 2nd District includes the cities of Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Upland, and the unincorporated communities of Devore, Lytle Creek, San Antonio Heights, Mt. Baldy and the Rim of the World mountain communities. Steinorth is a small business owner and father of two children, Madison and Mason.
